42 Tofu Recipes that Taste Great (1)

Some comments I regularly get are “help me like tofu” and “I can’t get tofu to taste good”. And that is why I have rounded up 42 Tofu Recipes that Taste Great! All of these recipes are truly delicious and highlight tofu in the best way possible.

Some common mistakes I see being made when it comes to tofu are:

  • Not pressing it before using ityou NEED to get that storage liquid pressed out if you are using firm, extra-firm or super firm tofu. The only time you can skip this step is if you’re using “high protein” tofu. It is the firmest of all of the tofus and doesn’t hold onto too much liquid. Pressing doesn’t need to be complicated. Place the tofu on a plate, top it with another plate and let it sit for 10ish minutes!
  • Skipping the corn starch – corn starch is a must for most crispy tofu recipes. It gives it the perfect crunch!
  • Patience – I have plenty of baked tofu recipes below, but if you are cooking it in a skillet you need to make sure the skillet is hot enough and don’t rush flipping the tofu. Let it get a nice brown color before tossing.

Outside of the draining and cooking process, the most important part is seasoning! And, if you’ve made any of my recipes, then you know that I never skip sauce or seasonings! I like my recipes to pack the flavor.
