Baking With Loved Ones

I have two dilemmas guys. First of all, I can’t say I am gifted with a ton of artistic talent. Also, I can’t stand cooking or baking by myself. As result, I end up missing out on food-related activities if I don’t have a partner or group.

Therefore, it’s important for me to have social activities during the holidays. Personally, I find activities like baking and decorating so much fun when surrounded by good conversation and loved ones.

If you are like me, don’t worry if your cookies come out a little funky, it’s all good fun and they’re going in everyone’s tummies anyway. 😉 Here are some of the cutest Christmas cookie recipes I’ve found to date. Enjoy!

Ways to Decorate Your Cookies

Now that you have your cookies ready, it’s time to decorate them! There are many different ways to do this, and you can be as creative as you want. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

Sprinkles: This is a classic way to decorate cookies. You can use any type of sprinkles you want, or mix and match different colors.

Icing: You can use icing to make designs on your cookies. You can either use a piping bag to create intricate designs or simply spread it on with a spoon.

Candy: Candy can be a fun way to decorate cookies. You can use it to create fun shapes, or simply sprinkle it on top.

Chocolate/ganache: You can melt chocolate, white chocolate, or ganache and use it as “glue” for other candies. This is a good technique if you want something to stick onto your cookies.

Royal icing: Royal icing can be used to create intricate designs on your cookies. It hardens when it dries, so you can stack the cookies afterward.

Drizzles: Using a piping bag or a sandwich bag with a small corner cut off, you can “pipe” melted chocolate over your cookies for decoration. You could also use milk or white chocolate in this way.

As you can see, there are many different ways to decorate Christmas cookies. It’s all up to you how creative you want to be! Just have fun and enjoy yourself. Merry Christmas!
