We all have our favorite way to enjoy a margarita – on the rocks, frozen, with or without salt – but I’m here to share that this jam margaritas recipe (jamaritas) will become your new favorite, because it’s SO EASY!!! Your solution for a quick and easy homemade margarita is jamaritas – margaritas made with jam (only 3 ingredients: tequila, lime, jam)

This is a recipe for margaritas made with jam. You only need3 ingredients before you are on your way to a super new tasty take on a margarita. I like to call them Jamaritas!

All you need to do to make this super easy margarita is combine all of the ingredients in a glass and shake (or stir)! I love using glasses like these but any ones you have will work!

If you really want to get fancy, you can use a shaker to really blend things together. But, since I’m usually throwing this margarita together as tacos are about to be ready and I don’t have a few extra minutes, I just use a spoon to mix it together and it’s just as tasty!

If you’re getting down to the end of your jam jar, you could also get creative and use the jam jar as a co*cktail shaker. Plus, then you’re sure to get all of the yummy jam flavors in your Jamarita.

This co*cktail recipe is the perfect option for a busy weeknight co*cktail. They are SO GOOD and such an easy margarita recipe.

A few years ago, I shared how to make a margarita bar, which included three different flavor margaritas, but none as simple as this!

This jam margarita is so flexible because you really can use any jam you like. I’ve used strawberry (featured in the photos), but I’ve also tried mixed berry and apricot. You can just pick your favorite! I bet it would be super delicious with a spicy jam as well.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Ice
  • 2 shots tequila
  • 1` lime juiced
  • 2 Tbs. jam pick your favorite flavor! I used strawberry

Instructions

  • Put ice in co*cktail glass. Pour tequila over ice. Squeeze in juice from one lime. Add jam.
